Keto is a condition in which the body has ketones in it. Typically, this condition arises when we fast or diet. When there is a restriction of carbohydrates in the body, the brain will start looking for an alternate source of fuel. When you follow a ketogenic, high-fat, and low carb diet, your brain will start relying on ketones for its fuel. Incidentally, these are one of three ketotones present in the body.
